Hi, I’m Dr. Dukwon Yoon. Working with animals has always been a true passion of mine. I love exploring the intricacies of their bodies, understanding how they function, and using that knowledge every day to make a positive difference. Knowing that I’m helping not just my pet patients but also their human families brings me a deep sense of fulfillment.
I’m a licensed veterinarian in California with two decades of practice experience. I trained at both the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and Seoul National University. In 2001, I was proud to open the practice that has since grown into Gentle Care Veterinary Hospital here in Hayward. While I’ve since transitioned to working with UVC, my commitment to exceptional veterinary care and the East Bay community remains as strong as ever.
Outside of work, I’m a proud parent to two wonderful children and a beloved dog named Apricot, who’s very much part of the family. I look forward to continuing to support pets and their families in whatever way I can.
